What Do I Need to Take the Exam?

If Currently Licensed, Your Original and One Copy of Your Ham License and/or Certificate of Successful Completion of Examination (CSCE)

FCC Registration Number (FRN). See the FCC Video at fcc.gov/rofrn to learn how to obtain the FRN.

LOUISVILLE, KY WCARS License Testing
Jeffersontown Masonic Lodge (Google Map)
10411 Watterson Trail (Blue building across the street from City Hall, just off Taylorsville Road.)
WCARS Testing Fee $10.00
Testing is on the second floor and access is through a door midway on the side of the building. There is a parking lot adjacent to the building.

5:30pm Second Friday of the even-numbered months: February, April, June, August, October and December
Registrations must be completed prior to 6:30pm to finish testing by 7:30pm.

2:00pm Third Sunday of odd-numbered months: January, March, May, July and November (No session in September)
Walk-in registration from 2:00pm to 3:00pm. After 3:00pm by appointment.

Note: In September, a testing session is at the Greater Louisville Hamfest. The hamfest is always the first Saturday after Labor Day.
