B.A.R.S. KY4KY Repeater Fund

 

The B.A.R.S. KY4KY Repeater Fund was established by the Bullitt Amateur Radio Society for raising funds to maintain the KY4KY repeater.

In December 2006, the final outputs of the repeater failed and the repair cost $270. We quickly realized costly repairs of this type could not be accomplished with only club dues. The creation of a special fund for repeater maintenance was discussed by the Board of Directors in February 2007 and accepted by majority vote at that month's club meeting. This fund is separate from other club funds and is used only to maintain the KY4KY repeater.
